Our WindWave
W’wave® has developed the WindWave, a new hardware component for wind farms.
Our technology modifies artificially the topography of the wind farm, installing cost-efficient wind-breaking structures at ground level with no physical contact with the wind turbine. Such structures, with the right dimensions and located at the right position in respect to the wind turbine, diverts the flow, optimizing it through the rotor area of the wind turbine.
Higher wind speed, lower turbulence intensity and lower wind shear thanks to the WindWave leads to higher wind turbine production without decreasing the turbines’ operational lifetime.
